Once in a while it’s pretty exciting to take a step back and go through the work we produced over the past many moons. And when our local community recognizes us the work, we feel incredibly honored. Especially when we are just over a year of starting ODDS.
On Tuesday, February 24, we scored a couple of ADDY awards presented by the Asheville chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). We took home a Gold ADDY and a Special Judges Mention ADDY for our work on “Reinventing the Toilet Challenge” Container Design. The Gold ADDY automatically gets moved on to the next tier of the national competition. Congratulations to all of last night’s winners!
About AAF: The American Advertising Federation (AAF), the nation’s oldest national advertising trade association, and the only association representing all facets of the advertising industry, is headquartered in Washington, D.C. The AAF also has 15 district operations, each located in and representing a different region of the nation.
About ADDYs: The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards – recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. Entry in your local Ad Club competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY.
